Layouts

Layouts are used to create or customize views.

Layouts are broken down into 2 sections:

• System layouts
• Created Layouts

System Layouts

System layouts are the layouts that come with CreataCRM.

Below is a list of views that are currently enabled for layouts

• Company Detail View
• Company List View
• Contact Detail View
• Contact List View
• Job Detail View
• Campaign Detail View
• Opportunity Detail View
• Product Detail View

If you would like to make changes to these layouts, they are edited in place. Navigate to the view you would like to change, then:

• locate the Edit layout action
  • 
• If the edit action is not available press CTL + Shit + E

Created Layouts

Created Layouts are any layouts that have been created in your CreataCRM Database.

Where to find Created Layouts

Created Layouts can be created and customized under Settings > Developer > Manage Layouts

Mange Layouts

The manage layouts view is where you can see all the created layouts in our database.

Creating a new layout

To create a new layout enter a name in the new layout box and click new Layout button.

You will be presented with the choose a layout model dialog. As this is a new layout you will want to select Shared. Sor more information on layout models see Layout Models

After selecting the shared model you will be taken into the edit layout screen.
